Hillary Clinton Promises More Wars At Last Presidential Debate

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton labeled her opponent a “puppet” of Russian President Vladimir Putin and promised more wars in the last presidential debate before election day. Among the new countries Clinton plans to go to war with are the government of Syria and nuclear-armed Russia.

Clinton declared she would setup a no fly zone (NFZ) in Syria, which would require shooting down Syrian government and Russian planes. After moderator Chris Wallace reminded Clinton that Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Joseph Dunford told Congress that would be an act of war against both Syria and Russia, Clinton insisted it was still her policy.

A war with Russia would almost certainly go nuclear and lead to the destruction of the United States. A war with the Syrian government would almost certainly lead to jihadists rebels prevailing and perpetrating a genocide against the Alawaites and other Shiite religious minorities in Syria.

The American people are generally unenthusiastic about more wars, but the DC elite have regained their blood lust with a vengeance. According to The Washington Post, the foreign policy elite want to return to a hyper-aggressive US foreign policy, much like the one pursued by President George W. Bush.

Those same elites are set to staff a Clinton White House and view Obama’s foreign policy as too restrained:

In the rarefied world of the Washington foreign policy establishment, President Obama’s departure from the White House — and the possible return of a more conventional and hawkish Hillary Clinton — is being met with quiet relief.

The Republicans and Democrats who make up the foreign policy elite are laying the groundwork for a more assertive American foreign policy via a flurry of reports shaped by officials who are likely to play senior roles in a potential Clinton White House.

It is not unusual for Washington’s establishment to launch major studies in the final months of an administration to correct the perceived mistakes of a president or influence his successor. But the bipartisan nature of the recent recommendations, coming at a time when the country has never been more polarized, reflect a remarkable consensus among the foreign policy elite.

Who are those elite on the Democratic side? One does not have to look much farther than the Center for American Progress. One CAP Middle East analyst told WaPo he wanted a “more muscular” US foreign policy, which well mirrors what other CAP officials like Neera Tanden and John Podesta say in recently published leaked emails.

Yes, these deranged DC creatures really believe an empire with over 600 military bases stretching the globe and at least five active wars going on is not being assertive enough.

So if Clinton gets into the White House, expect another four years of perpetual war. What a country.
