Two Off duty Police Officers DONNA LESHER and Tabitha Gurley McCrillis entered an elderly mans apartment and then where rushed by the man; according to the two officers. Lacking the strength to overpower him and the common sense to wait for backup. The officers shot Eugene Ellison twice, killing him.
