Introducing The Bullpen
Welcome to The Bullpen.
Named after temporary prisons setup for rebellious workers, The Bullpen will seek to reveal and explore the underlying power dynamics within the US economy and political system — the forces shaping how ‘We The People’ live our lives. This is not the place for the latest campaign gossip and ephemera, but do not be surprised to see some familiar names featured in the quest to illuminate the dark connections between moneyed interests and those with more formal powers.
The Bullpen will name names but will also focus on describing the full picture of power in our times. America’s current political dysfunction and historic corruption problems are not a result of “a few bad apples,” but rather the result of larger failures to uphold the rule of law and nurture a more just society. Exposing the deeper shifts in how power and wealth are distributed and used will, hopefully, provide an insight to readers looking to better understand their world as well as provide ammunition to activists looking to battle the increasingly tyrannical economic and political elite on behalf of the 99%.
The work featured here will include and extend from the work done at Firedoglake, and the entire FDL archive will be available.
Thanks for stopping by and feedback is appreciated.
