Pew: Fifty-eight percent of Americans support drone strikes – another bullshit propaganda poll. Are you in favor of using drone strikes to kill suspected militants who are in foreign Countries based on historically faulty intelligence that result in the deaths of dozens of innocent civilians? Poll that question Pew.

Greece seems in real trouble. Unemployment is insane. Michael Hudson’s summary was nice. He mentioned parallel currency. Naked capitalism has a write up on several schemes. I wish he had explained them more, like if they could work or would they fall apart. A lot of credit to the Greeks but they are paddling against a strong current. Bondholders (aka banks) gotta be paid or the credit default swaps come due and the bubble bursts, I suppose. Who really speaks for the people?

Annie Lennox was a flute player and had traditional training as a musician. That has shown through some years as her intonation was way better than most pop types. It sags a bit in the vid.
