Late Night FDL: Face on the Bridge

Asia – Face on the Bridge

Asia is releasing their last live concert…

Asia have confirmed the launch of a live set recorded in the US in 2012, before Steve Howe bowed out of the band. And they’ve released a clip in which they perform their track Face On The Bridge.

Axis XXX Live In San Francisco MMXII will be available in DVD/2CD and Blu-ray editions on July 3, after its original broadcast by AXS TV in the States.

Frontman John Wetton says: “It’s a journey through Asia’s history, from Alpha to Omega and more, in the beautiful setting of the Regency Ballroom, San Francisco, California.

“Much newer material is aired, plus the band’s vintage hit songs, performed by all four original members of Asia. It’s an unmissable treat for any fan, new or old.”

Frontiers Music add: “This is a historical document of where the band was at the time – a snapshot of their musicianship, camaraderie and passion.

“This is one of the very last shows featuring the original lineup of Geoff Downes, Steve Howe, Carl Palmer and John Wetton, in your face and for your viewing pleasure.”

Guitarist Howe left Asia two months after Axis XXX was filmed to focus on Yes and solo work. He was replaced by Sam Coulson, who debuted on 14th album Gravitas.

Hi CT. Had some thunderstorms earlier. What Ohio counts as thunderstorm. Some wind and moderate rain and a couple of lightning strikes.

For this ex Florida boy Ohio thunderstorms are wimpy. Very heavy rain and hard wind and lightning stikes with in yards and twice to my apartment chimney that shook the place.

Evening, Chris … Last night you were talking about Florida’s humidity, tonight it’s the severe storms the state gets. Are you running a one-man project to warn people away from moving to Florida? 😉

I ran across this site a few days ago – a searchable database of 27,000 IC (intelligence community) employees, the data all gathered from online public sources such as resumes on LinkedIn:

hehe…I guess so. It’s the humidity that generates the storms. When the humidity begind to reach 80-90% is when the afternoon and evening storms come and sometimes they can be whoppers.
