– President Barack Obama and Prime Minister David Cameron pledged to defeat “radical Islam.” In addition, Obama vowed to look into the case of Shaker Aamer, a British citizen, in Guantanamo Bay.
– The Pentagon announced it would send 1,000 troops to different countries in order to train Syrian rebels
– Fatou Bensouda, the International Criminal Court’s prosecutor, will begin an investigation into Israeli war crimes against Palestinians
Middle East

– So far this year, 10 executions occurred in Saudi Arabia and all are beheadings; But they are a U.S. ally so this is covered up
– With all of the doom and gloom of Palestine I’ve been posting in recent weeks, here’s a positive story about its soccer team.
– Under Islamic State control, Iraqi hospitals are suffering from shortages and are forced to pick the most important patients to treat
