– Gary Younge: “The law may have spoken but the Ferguson verdict is not justice

– After the abysmal decision yesterday on officer Darren Wilson, “democracy was on fire” across the U.S. with demonstrations and Ferguson had a brutal response by officers; That is a good description of the situation.

– Chase Madar: “Why It’s Impossible to Indict a Cop

– What will it take for some white Americans to realize black lives matter? At what point do they stop living in a bubble?

– I’m sure some, if not most, of you are dejected by the news. The Ferguson Public Library provides good news as they offered activities for children and opened their doors for the community.

– ABC’s George Stephanopoulos was the first out of many reporters to interview Darren Wilson; I feel uneasy about this since it looks like a game to these journalists

– Apparently, Wilson has a “clean conscience” over what happened and would do it again; Where’s Wilson you might ask? Still on leave actually.

– Meanwhile, more than 2,000 National Guard troops will be called by Missouri Governor Jay Nixon to Ferguson; It’s elite panic

– In New York City some protesters threw fake blood on NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton

– U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder: I am “disappointed” by violence displayed after grand jury decision; Never learn Holder, never learn

– Due to the situation in Ferguson, Russia said the U.S. had “massive” domestic issues. On top of that, a French official was angered by the decision, and other countries also noted the instability of the U.S. system through this decision (although glee isn’t a word I would use)

– The family of Michael Brown criticized the U.S. justice system for not doing its job in cases of black youths being killed by police officers
