With the recent success of marijuana legalization initiatives in Washington D.C., Oregon, and Alaska it is time to update the map showing which states have a majority of Americans supporting legalization.
The states in dark green have already voted for legalization initiatives. In the medium green states non-partisan polling found majority support for legalization. Finally, in the light green states at least one poll commissioned by a drug policy reform group found majority support for legalization. I suspect there are currently a few more states where a majority support legalization, but there are no recent polls to prove it.
