Claims that MH-17 was hit by a ground-to-air missile are premature

The circumstances of the crash of MH-17 are still unclear, yet Western media already present the hypothesis that the plane was hit by a ground-to-air missile (in this case a Buk system) as a proven fact.

Here’s how it looks like when a Buk missile is fired:

As you see, the missile leaves a wide white vapor trail that stays in the air for minutes and can be seen from miles away.

There are several videos taken from the moment when the plane hit the ground. Here are two of them:

No vapor trails there. They should be there if a missile was fired.

There are also no witnesses who have seen a trail or heard a missile launched – apart from this hoaxer:

A Buk missile would also have left a unique radar and infrared trail easily detectable for US or Russian radar. Yet none side has come forward so far.

The ground-to-air missile claim is premature.
