House to Sue the President for “Not Faithfully Executing the Laws of the United States”
From the “Puh-lease” department …
House Speaker John Boehner will file a lawsuit against the Obama administration for its use of executive actions to change laws, he formally announced Wednesday.
Now before anyone begins cheering the beginning of accountability for the Constitutional transgressions of the Obama administration, let me clear some of that up right away.
‘This is not about impeachment, this is about his faithfully executing the laws of our country,’ Boehner said.
So somehow, I’m thinking illegally unilaterally declaring war (Libya), illegally spying on Americans’ electronic communications, illegally
murdering assassinating American (and other) citizens, and various other constitutional transgressions too many to list here, won’t even be discussed in the lawsuit.
No, it will be things like the EPA cracking down on emissions (which I thought was their job), Obamacare implementation, the lack of approving Keystone XL, and if there’s any way possible to bring Benghazi into it, that too. You know, bullshit.
Because everyone on both the right and left in some way understand how out of control our government has become, this is a way to “do something” about it, without, you know, actually doing something about it.
It would be funny, if it weren’t so damned sad.
And I’m sure another “benefit” of this bullshit that isn’t lost on Boner is that the record will show that the last two Democratic Presidents will have been impeached by a Republican House and sued by a Republican House. Nothing like feeding that crazy base some red meat.
