Pull Up a Chair: Let’s Dance

When Shirley Temple passed on to the great beyond a couple weeks ago, one of the video clips shown was her staircase dance with Mr. Bojangles, Bill Robinson. And that segued** me on to perhaps the best movie dance scene of all times then and now, “Jumpin Jive” with the Nicholas Brothers with Cab Calloway (Stormy Weather, 1943).

I enjoy song and dance movies – especially dance, if I had to pick a #1, for me it’s West Side Story. How about you? How about some recommendations to share.
