Obama’s Job Approval Rating Continues to Slip

Since winning his second term, President Obama’s job approval rating has slowly but steadily eroding. According to Pew, only 41 percent approve of how he is handling his job and 53 percent disapprove. From Pew:

Second-Term Presidential Job Approval

The drop in job approval is mostly coming from Independents and Democrats since Obama basically bottomed out with Republicans a long time ago. Since December Obama’s job approval rating is down 21 points with Independents and 10 points with Democrats.

Obama job approval rating is down across almost every issue. The only issue where a majority still approve of how he is handling his job is the threat of terrorism. On that issue he is at 51 percent approval.
