“Tea Party and Occupy join hands against the NSA” article gets scrubbed from

Tsk, tsk. Looks like the censors working for the man screwed up. Unfortunately, they didn’t correct their error after I had already read the article. I searched on the wayback machine, but it’s not there. If anybody can access a copy, feel free to post it.

If groups as disparate as the Tea Party/conservatives and the Occupy/progressives “joined hands” in general (on all the issues that they can “join hands” for) focused first on their common enemy (banksters, corporatists, plutocrats), while employing strategic smarts, that would be a disaster for their mutual enslavers. If the leftist and rightist guerillas cooperated to drive the Nazis out of Greece during WW2, certainly Americans can temporarily cooperate against their mutual oppressors, no?

In the meantime, you can get a feel for the broad range of participant American citizens, via this article from the Guardian,

Thousands gather in Washington for anti-NSA ‘Stop Watching Us’ rally

Billed by organizers as “the largest rally yet to protest mass surveillance”, Stop Watching Us was sponsored by an unusually broad coalition of left- and right-wing groups, including everything from the American Civil Liberties Union, the Green Party, Color of Change and Daily Kos to the Libertarian Party, FreedomWorks and Young Americans for Liberty.
