I am a real peacenik. If I thought bringing  the troops out of Afghanistan would mean less war I would support such a move. But it will not bring less war, it allows for those soldiers to be used for more war. There are people being killed in Afghanistan right now, but if freed up for more war the possibility of substantial escalation in war deaths is increased dramatically.

Iraq is the best example. We did not bring em’ home, we deployed them elsewhere. We did not lower Military spending  because of closing shop in Iraq, we found new military adventures requiring more tax dollars. the militarization of Africa ect

I believe the world is a safer place with us in Afghanistan.  The grand bargain’s main goal is to restore the military spending through social cuts. More war?
