Per this transcript, Obama said the following during his appearance on Leno’s program:

… there is no spying on Americans. We don’t have a domestic spying program.

[…]

Well, we don’t know yet exactly what he did, other than what he’s said on the Internet, …

Hopefully, at some point he’ll go to trial and he will have a lawyer and due process, and we can make those decisions.

But, as everyone (except perhaps Obama) knows, Obama’s Administration wants to try Snowden for revealing and documenting they are spying on Americans.

Is Obama that far out of the loop? Or, is Obama getting to be like Reagan was during his second term?
