Almost No One Shows Up To ‘Ex-Gay Pride’ Event

Ex-Gays’ Massive Demonstration

Yesterday was “ex-gay lobby day” in Washington in which thousands of formerly gay and currently in denial people were expected to come to the nation’s capital and promote the ex-gay agenda. Unfortunately, of the thousands expected only about ten people showed up.

The lobbying was supposed to be the culmination of “Ex-Gay Pride Month” celebrating those who really really really don’t want to admit to being gay.

Yesterday, American Family Radio’s Sandy Rios spoke to Ex-Gay Pride Month organizer Christopher Doyle about today’s ex-gay lobby day on Capitol Hill. Doyle, who was organizing the since-canceled Ex-Gay Pride banquet at the Family Research Council, complained in an interview with the Christian Post that “un-American” LGBT rights advocates have “shut us out,” explaining that “because of all this homo-fascism and indoctrination in the media, ex-gays aren’t given a fair shake.”

Rios confidently predicted that “thousands of ex-gays are descending” on Washington for a press conference planned for today at the Supreme Court. She lamented that when she led Concerned Women for America the media refused to hear “our ex-gay friends” because it “undermined the whole effort of the homosexual lobby.”

Isn’t all fascism homo-fascism, i.e. done by humans? Let me shake off the stupid and try again.

So instead of thousands about ten people showed up. But that won’t stop the phonies ex-gay movement. They will be back by the handfuls throughout the country, telling everyone how proud they are to be having awkward sex, if having any at all. Repression needs a voice.
