Yesterday I was walking down the street to my office when I ran into two lovely ladies and their equally lovely young basset, the very sweet Julia. After asking and being granted permission to pet her (Julia, the dog, not the lady ….I’m not the mayor of San Diego, fer cryin’ out loud), talk turned to bassets in general, which led to my two dumb guys. When she (the lady, not Julia) asked about their names and I told her “Fenway and Wembley”, she said, “Aren’t those the two bassets on the internet?”.

Yup.

I hear Fenway & Wembley are also big in Japan…..
