Cartoon Friday Watercooler

It’s Cartoon Friday, again!

Rocky & Bullwinkle

Look Rocky, it’s Cartoon Friday!

Peabody & Sherman were supporting characters on The Rocky & Bullwinkle Show, Jay Ward’s consistently clever series that challenged viewers young and old while entertaining them with genuine wit. Mister Peabody, the talking dog, and his boy pal Sherman appeared in Peabody’s Improbable History. In each segment, they’d travel to another era and meet a historical figure, usually setting them on the path to greatness. In this episode, they meet “Edgar Allen Poe.”

Look out, it contains puns.

Maybe we’ll visit more with Jay Ward’s creations in a future installment, as they are some of history’s funniest cartoons. Thanks to MyFDL‘s mafr for suggesting this.

What are your favorite cartoons? I’ll try to use one in a future installment.
