George W. Bush Hopes Jeb Runs for President

jeb bushGeorge W. Bush hopes there will once again be a Bush in the White House. In an interview with Parade the former president said he hopes his brother Jeb Bush runs for President in 2016. From Parade:

Your brother Jeb has been talked about as a potential candidate for president. Is the country—I mean this respectfully—ready for another Bush?

GB: That’s for Jeb to figure out, you know what I mean? [laughs] I would hope that people would judge [him], if Jeb were to run, on his merits and his track record. … So I hope he will run.

Apparently, only two Bush presidencies in the past thirty years just isn’t enough.

If Bush runs and wins the Republican nomination there is a very good chance his Democratic opponent would be Hillary Clinton. The 2016 Presidential election could potentially be a Bush v. Clinton showdown. It will be like the 90’s all over again.
