NOM Wants To Know What You Would Do
It’s one of National Organization for Marriage’s favorite scare tactics: lead parents to believe that kids will “go gay” if they learn in school that marriage equality exists. Today NOM wheeled out the latest rendition of this old saw in a tweet:
What would you do if your 8-year-old son came home from school and said, “Today I married my best friend Jimmy”?
Entertainingly, the question isn’t generating the panicked sort of responses that NOM was hoping for:
“Neat. Now wash your hands, it’s time for dinner.”
Get super pissed cuz I wasn’t invited.
Buy them a crockpot??
Here’s the original tweet, if you’d like to add your own reply.
