Wednesday Watercooler

Hi, y’all.

Tomorrow I’ll have a post about highlights of the upcoming South by Southwest Interactive conference on Bytegeist. In the meantime, you can follow my tweets about the event or look at my tentative schedule. But one less serious event I am especially excited about is a panel discussion between the band They Might Be Giants and comedian Eugene Mirman. One of the first albums I can remember buying was Flood, and I adore Eugene Mirman’s work — especially his brilliant snarkyness as Gene on Bob’s Burgers, the one consistent ray of light in the Sunday Fox animation block that is otherwise mediocre or dismal.

I was a kid when I first I bought my first TMBG album but they’ve since produced some actual kids music — the kind adults can still enjoy. Here’s “Science is Real” from their album Here Comes Science.

What’s on your mind tonight?
