Monday Watercooler

Hi, y’all.

Temperatures up to the mid-80s today, but we’ll be back to the 30s at night later this week. I’m not sure I approve of this kind of thing!

Starting later this week I’ll be writing for Firedoglake’s Bytegeist about South by Southwest Interactive, the huge annual conference here in Austin, Texas which accompanies the Education, Film, Comedy and Music arms of the festival. It’s my first time attending and I’m excited about a lot of the panels and talks. I’ll have a preview in the near future but if there are particular panels you’d like me to cover please let me know.

And of course, if you’re going tell me so we can meet up if possible!

Here’s Bjork singing “Hyperballad,” from 1996. Michael Gondry, known for films like The Science of Sleep and The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind directed the video.

How was your weekend?
