Thursday Watercooler

Happy Valentine’s Day.

I’m not too invested in these sorts of days, and I’m spending this one (kind of) alone. I’m dropping in on karaoke night at the local Moose Lodge, which a bunch of friends of mine have adopted in recent years. It should be fun. Or at least boozey.

Tonight’s video is a performance, by street musician Lawrence Glaister, of Leonard Cohen’s classic “Ain’t No Cure For Love.” It might not be note perfect, but there’s something appealing to me tonight about this busker on a busy street that mostly ignores his music.

What’s on your mind tonight? This is our latest myFDL open thread.
