Watercooler Isn’t Broke

Hi, y’all.

If you follow Occupy than you might have seen this already today. In light of looming cuts and continued corporate greed, the makers of the 2012 documentary We’re Not Broke made the entire film available for free (with commercial interruptions) on Hulu. I had it on today while working and it provides a clear, understandable breakdown of how corporations dodge paying for taxes and how much that (and our ever-growing wars) cost our economy. It also offers some history of the US Uncut movement, which predates Occupy Wall St.

We’re Not Broke is the story of how multi-national corporations make record profits, yet dodge billions of dollars of income tax, and how seven fed-up citizens take their frustration to the streetsand vow to make the corporations pay their fair share.

How are you doing today? What’s on your mind?
