Unemployed Wisconsin man asks Paul Ryan about jobs — future veep nom offers him candy
The more that comes out about Paul Ryan and Mitt Romney, the worse it gets. This response by Paul Ryan is indicative of the level of concern for the 99%. Why are the polls even close? Take a look at what happened when a Wisconsin resident sidled up to the Ryan family during the Janesville Labor Day parade in 2011. He attempted to strike up a conversation about the jobs situation, but Ryan rebuffs him, apologizes and walks away. The man is persistent — and this is what the future running mate of Mitt Romney finally said to blow the man off.
So what should I have to work for to get a job? Should I have to work for the same wages as in China? Should I have to work for one dollar an hour?
Paul Ryan looks to his wife, Janna, and smiles. She smiles back and he responds with:
Have a nice day, alright? Would you like some candy?
