Walmart Mic Check Wednesday Watercooler

Last week, as part of celebrating Occupy Austin’s 1 year birthday, we performed a mic check inside a Walmart in solidarity with the Warehouse Workers for Justice Walmart warehouse strike, which has since spread to the OUR Walmart strike in over a dozen states. Occupy Austin’s embedded photojournalist, John Anderson, also posted a gallery at the Austin Chronicle.

This video was recorded by Comrade of the Peaceful Streets Project; I like how he agrees to stop filming at one point then keeps filming anyway. Comrade was later among those arrested at our October 6 Tent City Rising action.

It’s by no means the perfect mic check (too wordy for one) but I thought I’d share it as a watercooler post.

This is the latest open thread. What’s on your mind?
