Chick-fil-A’s Cathy: “we support Biblical families”
ROTFLOL. The Chick-Fil-A COO just steps in it over and over. Dan Cathy spoke with 11Alive’s (WXIA-TV) Matt Pearl at the Cathy family’s ranch in Georgia.
This past weekend, Cathy sidestepped questions about the controversy but did reiterate the company’s devotion to families.
“Families are very important to our country,” Cathy said. “And they’re very important to those of us who are concerned about being able to hang on to our heritage.
“We support Biblical families, and they’ve always been a part of that.”
Biblical families? Does that mean he supports…
- Plural marriages – those are in the Good Book…
- Selling daughters into slavery?
It’s like shooting fish in a barrel, yet it’s too bad the reporter didn’t follow up with those obvious questions. You have to watch the video; the reporter notes just how much Dan Cathy dodges simple questions about his political stance and donations to anti-LGBT organizations.
