Democratic Enthusiasm Surges

The bad news for Romney keeps on coming. In addition to trailing in the horse polls and getting lower marks than President Obama on almost every issue, Romney has lost the enthusiasm advantage he held earlier in the year. In the swing states more Democrats than Republicans are enthusiastic about voting this November. From Gallup:

The Republican Party had been banking on the fact that their base was extremely motivated to vote Obama out of office, but they hadn’t counted on the fact Democratic disdain for Romney would make them even more motivated to keep Romney out of the White House.
