The Encyclical Against Cooties

As TBogg noted professional guilt-imposer, screamer, and all around icky person Bill Donohue has attempted to unleash a pogrom against one Jon Stewart.

But Bill Donohue couldn’t operate so horrendously without a patron, and they are leading the march.  The Vatican, has been a reliable home for mockeries of justice for eons; from Stephen VI/VII (cannot even get the number right) to Galileo to Pius XII to prepubescent boys everywhere.  It has taken a moment from literally hiding skeletons in closets to draw another line in the sand against women as the tide rolls in.

The Vatican orthodoxy watchdog announced Wednesday a full-scale overhaul of the largest umbrella group for nuns in the United States, accusing the group of taking positions that undermine Roman Catholic teaching on the priesthood and homosexuality while promoting “certain radical feminist themes incompatible with the Catholic faith.”

OMG, “certain radical feminist themes”, I imagine it is something like saying women should have equality with dudes, or even have some autonomy over their corporeal beings — y’know like men do.  Yes, that is quite radical indeed.

In 1949, I decided to wrestle professionally, starting my career in Texas. In my debut, I defeated Abe Kashey, with former World Heavyweight boxing Champion Jack Dempsey as the referee. In 1950, I captured the NWA Junior Heavyweight title. In 1953, I won the Chicago version of the NWA United States Championship. I became one of the most well-known stars in wrestling during the golden age of television, thanks to my exposure on the Dumont Network, where I wowed audiences with my technical prowess. I was rumored to be one of the highest paid wrestlers during the 1950s, reportedly earning a hundred thousand dollars a year. My specialty was "the Sleeper Hold" and the founding of modern, secular, Turkey.

Oops, sorry, that's the biography of Verne Gagne with a touch of Mustafa Kemal.

I'm just an average moron who in reality is a practicing civil rights and employment attorney in fly-over country .
