A mere nine years after breaking down Iraq’s defenses and having our way with her in an orgy of blood and hate-sex and thrusts and counter-thrusts (remember “the surge”? Jesus, I Looooved the surge) big dumbhead Barack Obama pulled out ( just like that!) leaving a void and a hunger that can never be filled unless America comes back for sloppy seconds but, no, hippie America won’t; they already got what they came for and they’ll probably never call again. God. I  was soooo close. I mean Iraq was. Iraq was close.

Also, Danielle Pletka can eat a bag of salted dicks … because it’s never too early to get a jump on the 2012 Moore Award.

(Update) From the comments below, Danielle Pletka was a big fan of Iraqi grifter Ahmed Chalabi:

In an interview, Ms. Pletka said that Mr. Chalabi had been ”shoddily” treated and that C.I.A. and State Department people had been fighting ”a rear guard” action against him.

”They’ve been out to get him for a long time,” Ms. Pletka said. ”And to be fair, he has done things and the people around him have done things that have made it easier for them. He is a prickly, difficult person and he drives them crazy. He never takes no for an answer, even when he should.”

Ms. Pletka added: ”There are questionable people around him — I don’t know how close — who have been involved in questionable activities in Iraq. He is close to the Iranian government. And so all of these things have lent credence to the accusations against him.”

And we should take her wise counsel about Iraq exactly why? She’s a female Doug Feith…
