Today however, we have someone like Donald Trump claiming to be worth $7B, with $3B of that being his “brand.” Yeah, that’s right. The guy whose combover has been likened to a dead raccoon claims a worth nearly double the generous estimates provided by Forbes. I guess The Donald must subscribe to the “there’s no such thing as bad publicity” theory since a recent Fox Poll (via Media Matters) showed a Trump endorsement would be received positively by 6% of those polled versus negatively by 31% of those polled.

Obama should be in serious political trouble and to a degree he would be if the Republican nominee is Mitt Romney. According to the same poll in a hypothetical match-up it would be Obama 47 – Romney 46; but since this is a poll of all adults Romney would likely hold a modest edge among those likely to actually go vote.

When we last saw neo-con nutball and Jenifer Rubin’s BFF Rachel Abrams, she was still publicly working out some of the kinks for her proposed  Israeli/Palestianian two-state solution where the Israelis got to keep all of the land and the Palestinians would move to Waterworld  where they would be welcomed

The information coming out of Fox News is often misleading or clearly incorrect. People ask me, “Spocko, is there anything we can do about this? Can’t the FCC do anything? What about the FTC and truth in advertising laws?”

How can Fox employees get away with calling themselves journalists when they are acting more like lobbyists or employees of a PR firm?

Are there every any negative consequences for people who intentionally lie while calling themselves journalists?

I make it a habit not to listen to Rush Limbaugh because he makes my blood pressure rise and that isn’t good for me, but today my husband played me about a 3 minute video of Mr. Limbaugh complaining that children expect to be fed during the summer. I kid

Perhaps we should begin with an offering from Goldman Sachs he covered closely, the Abacus deal, for which Goldman was fined. Mr. Cohan, please explain whether you believe Goldman was guilty of unethical or illegal activity in the sale of Abacus. Ultimately, I hope we get your views on why there have been no convictions, and why.
