Hey there. I am not really sure how to begin this post. I am basically asking for a favor here. You see, I am a college student(and wife, and mom, and about a million other things) and am applying for as many scholarships as I can, hoping to get one. One of the scholarships I am applying for is America’s Best Blogger. Now, I don’t propose that I actually AM America’s Best Blogger, but I figured, “what the hell, I’ll give it a shot.”

Anyway, what I had to do was write a post about what I think the biggest issue will be in the upcoming presidential elections. I did that, but one of the judging criteria is regarding comments. I read here a lot(rarely comment) and I have seen that this site is mostly full of intelligent, opinionated, educated people. Yes, a little flattery, but it’s still true. I would like to ask if some of you could please read over this particular blog post and comment. I’m not looking for props on my writing or anything like that. Just, if you have a thought while reading the post or the other comments, could you write a comment of your own?

This scholarship would really help out a lot if I win. I’m not going to go into a “poor me” story because there are a LOT of people in this country and around the world that are worse off than I am. I am simply saying that college is freaking expensive, but necessary(and to be honest, I love it) and this money would really help with the expenses.
