Dear Verizon,

Congratulations on laying off those 40 troublemaking employees who were protesting about losing their benefits! Maybe living out on the street and losing all their hopes and dreams will teach them a lesson. And way to go on punishing their children because their parents had the nerve to oppose your god-like corporate whims!

They “violated Verizon’s code of conduct” – I really had a good chuckle over that one.

Just one thing: unfortunately, you’ve violated my code of conduct. I’d been planning to switch over to your wireless service, because AT&T Wireless really sucks. But sorry, you’ve rendered yourself ineligible. I wish you and your families could be out on the street right next to those fired workers, but we’ll have to wait until the American people wake up for that to happen. In the meantime, though, it looks like I’ll be going with Credo.
