Short and sweet.

If you know any vets who are either occupying or planning to occupy a site suggest to them that they wear either:

1) A camoflage top, or other uniform jacket/blouse/jumper, with their ribbons displayed over the left breast pocket, or

2) A t-shirt from Veterans for Peace or any other veteran’s group.

They can also carry a small flag of the veteran’s organization they belong to.

Vets will be high profile, both to the media and the police. Don’t expect the police to not use violence against them as with anybody else but it may cause some hesitation on their part. Even a small delay may help people avoid the violence and disperse.

Take pictures of occupiers readily identified as veterans. Let the world see that those who have put their lives on the line are just as unemployed and homeless as millions of others.
