Wingnut Bizarre Days; Candidates Without Handlers

Did you ever think you’d be nostalgic for the Poppy Bush era, when candidates had acknowledged handlers, and were obvious puppets of their own hired hands? Watching Christine O’Donnell and Goodhair Perry get crazee for the fun of it does that for me. The world of videos going viral has taken over in our political sphere.
I suppose it’s a form of voyeurism, but I did check in to see the former Witch of Delaware on a show I don’t really much care for last night. While you will hear that she was upset about questions on gay marriage, I was watching the show, and it was her digging in her heels and refusing to tell more about the contents of her book, instead. After an excruciating session of Morgan showing videos and digging into her views as a kid and non-candidate, about masturbation being immoral, O’Donnell was deeply embarrassed and wanted to get away from content that made her look ridiculous.
Piers Morgan was enjoying the scene, and went on at length about the kind of videos and public statements O’Donnell used to get attention, long before a bunch of crazees concluded that this was the kind of Senate candidate that would appeal to Delaware’s teabaggage voting block. It was pitiful, and she was spectacularly silly, the kind of footage that we are becoming ever more used to as everyday people make stupid videos that they hope will ‘go viral’. This video of O’Donnell talking about the lust that makes masturbation evil in her view was viral in every sense of the word.
The candidate for president who most resembles O’Donnell is Texas’ own goodhaired governor, whose long accumulation of a record does not bode well for the dignity of the electoral process where he is concerned. Rick Perry has threatened secession from the United States, that he now loves passionately. He has called Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid unconstitutional and demanded the federal government stop giving out all that money to citizens who earned it so that the states, most especially Texas, can get their hands on it.
Videos abound of Perry masturbating verbally, of course, and I can’t wait to see a composite of O’Donnell’s teenage moralizing with his own declarations of the sacred calling he has nobly taken on – in seeking the presidency where he can typically take the money and run. The flimflam man has all too much in common with the girl who catapulted herself into notoriety by titillating an audience in the cause of some vague religious dogma about masturbation.
As those who have watched him for years are well aware, Perry is grandiosely bought and sold, and has taken taxpayer dollars to build wonderful enticements for businesses that will not return anything to the taxpayers of TX. Instead, pursuing their own ends, corporations brought into this state throw money Perry’s way in return for his favors. His own appointees clot the governmental bodies of the state, stringing up regulations with the reins in their teeth, very much like the ‘ugly’ scene he conjures up for the Fed Chief who might do the economy some good – which would be bad for Perry’s political ends.
The EPA is under indictment here for trying to protect that despised public that the goodhair disserves – ignoring the costs, TX plows into that Big Gubmint body so foolish as to carry out the dread laws of the land. Toll roads are springing up everywhere, financed by taxpayer dollars thrown at the favored, often off shore, contractors who have aeons of profits lined up from the generous, or is it ignorant, taxpayers.
The witching of Delaware never got off the ground, for which that state should be thanking its lucky stars. Here in TX, the crazee performs the diversionary tricks it was meant to achieve, keeping the public looking at the masturbation video instead of the balance sheet.
We need handlers back, or at least some one to call in the police. The crazees are running wild and their standards are videos that go’viral’, not sane and rational public service that they claim to be standing for.
