Saving one animal will not change the world but it will change the world for that animal.

It’s been a quiet week in Lake Wobegon. Ooops, wrong script.

I think Sita has decided she’s found her forever home. She can now sit and allow the other tigers to walk in front of her without swatting and growling. Follows the dad around at feeding time to the point she’s constantly in the way in the kitchen, taking over Shiimsa’s job. I wonder how long she’s been a talker. She’s quite vocal now, with little meows when she comes up to me. Last night she was spread out on her back on the kitchen floor, her latest fave spot. I got the camera and I’ll be damned, the batteries needed to be recharged. I still haven’t been able to trim her claws but that’ll come eventually. Now that she’s settled down she’s showing what a sweetheart she is.

It’s hot here but not nearly as hot as it is in the midwest and other places in the country. The tigers are down to eating and sleeping. Sleeping on the terrazzo floor or the faux marble window sills. Nagi and Feurae sleep in the waterbed at night and Sita usually shows up around 5:00 or 5:30 every morning.

Home after 75 days. These critters never cease to amaze me.

Maru‘s a chubby little tiger, but sooooo cute.

He who knows does not speak.
He who speaks does not know.

Block all the passages!
Shut all the doors!
Blunt all edges!
Untie all tangles!
Harmonize all lights!
Unite the world into one whole!
This is called the Mystical Whole,
Which you cannot court after nor shun,
Benefit nor harm, honour nor humble.

Therefore, it is the Highest of the world.
