If I were the Prez and needed to respond to the Tea-Baggers’ calls for budget cuts, here’s how I would do it. I would divide up the budget by revenue stream, SS, Medicare and everything else. I would then argue there is no need to cut those items whose revenues currently out pace their spending. I would then go to those programs that do exceed their revenue stream and propose across the board cuts to align their spending with their revenue. Let’s see how the boys and girls from the Bagger nation react to that.
