Ads of the Week

So when I think of it, I’ll post some campaign ads that caught my eye throughout the week. Here goes:

• Conservative Democrat Bobby Bright proudly announces that he votes 80% of the time with John Boehner. If you’ve given to the DCCC in the past two years, your money is going to someone like this.

I like how he says you can use numbers to tell lies, then he… uses a bunch of numbers.

• More Democrats are running ads increasing the profile of their opponents, particularly their unpopular stances on the issues. Here’s Richard Blumenthal going after Linda McMahon in Connecticut and her call to lower the minimum wage:

Blumenthal also highlights McMahon’s anti-worker business practices while a CEO, which leads us to…

Barbara Boxer’s new ad against Carly Fiorina:

• Russ Feingold took a different tactic, playing up his support of the more popular aspects of the health care bill and painting his opponent Ron Johnson as someone dedicated to taking it away:

I wonder what would happen if Feingold ran an ad demanding a public option and making it his top priority in the next Congress.

• Finally, here’s longshot Democrat Scott McAdams in Alaska, positing his skills at being cursed at in Norwegian as a credential for the US Senate:
