…Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D-WV) is promoting a two-year moratorium on EPA climate action. Speaking to E&E News, climate peacocks Sen. Byron Dorgan (D-ND) and Sen. Ben Nelson (D-NE) have announced they would potentially support killing EPA rules in the agency’s appropriations bill, to be marked up on Thursday:

“I’d like to see what amendments are offered, and I’ll make a judgment about that,” Dorgan said. “I do think that it makes sense to have some time here to have Congress make the ultimate decision rather than EPA.”

I’m supporting Rockefeller, so obviously I have inclinations to curtail some of the authority and the actions of the EPA,” Nelson said.

Given everything that has happened around the world this last while, I am unable to understand what these people are thinking, but,

It is now quite obvious, that many of the decision makers (whatever they may say) simply do not understand the simple facts about climate change.

Everywhere around the world, we are ruled by provincials, while those with knowledge are sidelined.

I have no answers.

The population of humans on this planet may soon be brought back into line with the capacity of the earth to accommodate the species.

I have felt deep sorrow, but my capacity for that is ebbing, as we let this go on and on, and do next to nothing to prevent it.
