Bobby Jindal’s Louisiana: Go to Church, Shoot Someone

photo: zz77 via Flickr

I don’t know how I missed all of the horrible stories of gunmen and bombers bursting into Louisiana churches and slaughtering the innocent. There must have been dozens of such incidents, with possibly hundreds killed and wounded, and they’ve left god-fearing Louisiana citizens terrified.

Why has the MSM been asleep? Those missing stories would explain why the Louisiana legislature just passed a law permitting church goers to carry concealed firearms into churches, synogogues, mosques etc, and why Governor Bobby Jindal would so quickly sign the legislation.

We know such stories must exist, because if they didn’t, that would mean the country has gone completely insane.

So all of you, listen up: Please find as many of these little known stories* as you can of gunmen or terrorists storming into houses of worship in the US and murdering people. Because we need to understand where this huge security threat is coming from and send in my old unit, the First Cavalry Division.

*Scenes from Kill Bill don’t count, nor will we count incidents in any country invaded and occupied by US troops or the subject of Predator bombings.

Bobby Jindal’s Louisiana: Go to Church, Shoot Someone

I don’t know how I missed all of the horrible stories of gunmen and bombers recently bursting into Louisiana churches and slaughtering the innocent. There must have been dozens of such incidents lately, with possibly hundreds killed and wounded, and they’ve left god-fearing Louisiana citizens terrified.

Why has the MSM been asleep? Those missing stories would explain why the Louisiana legislature just passed a law permitting church goers to carry concealed firearms into churches, synagogues, mosques etc, and why Governor Bobby Jindal would so quickly sign the legislation.

So all of you, listen up: Please find as many of these little known stories* as you can of gunmen or terrorists storming into houses of worship in the US and murdering people. Because we need to understand where this huge security threat is coming from and send in my old unit, the First Cavalry Division, to be followed by Lindsey Graham, Joe Lieberman and old whatshisname to check on how the surge is going.

We know such stories must exist, because if they didn’t, that would mean the country has gone completely insane.

*Scenes from Kill Bill don’t count, nor will we count incidents in any country invaded and occupied by US troops or the target of Predator bombings.

Knoxville Unitarian Universalist Church Shooting via Wikipedia:

On July 27, 2008, a politically motivated[1][2] fatal shooting took place at the Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church in Knoxville, Tennessee, United States. Motivated by a desire to kill liberals and Democrats, gunman Jim David Adkisson fired a shotgun at members of the congregation during a youth performance of a musical, killing two people and wounding seven others.

Pam Spaulding, Abortion doctor George Tiller murdered at Kansas Church:

Dr. George Tiller, who remained one of the nation’s few providers of late-term abortions through decades of protests and attacks, was shot and killed Sunday in a church where he was serving as an usher and his wife was in the choir.

…Long a focus of national anti-abortion groups, including a summer-long protest in 1991, Tiller was serving as an usher during Sunday morning services when he was shot in the foyer of Reformation Lutheran Church, Stolz said.

CNN, Church priest list names of murder victims in New Orleans

Father Bill Terry of St. Anna’s Episcopal Church in New Orleans wants everyone to know what’s happening in New Orleans: too many murders with too few people held accountable. . . .

In the first 29 days of this month alone, the city witnessed 27 killings, according to the New Orleans Police Department. So far in 2007, police say 137 people have been killed. That puts the city on pace for roughly 200 slayings this year.
