Here’s the Quitter, talking to Hannity the night of the congressional election in PA-12.

PALIN: I think Burns will pull this off tonight. And just like the “Randslide” that we were just talking about, you’re going to see Burns having this representation of a smaller, smarter government, getting the economy back on the right track with some limited overreach of the government. That’s what Burns stands for. […] We need someone like Tim Burns in there. And you’re going to see that via vote today with the electorate.

Pretty bold prediction! And naturally, Burns was promptly routed by Critz.

Now here’s Chris Wallace on Sunday, actually holding the Quitter accountable for her epic pundit fail.

WALLACE: Mark Critz, the Democrat in the special election in western Pennsylvania, did run against the health care, did run against cap and trade, but the fact was a lot of people thought, including you, it would be a Republican pick-up.

Why wasn’t it? And doesn’t that raise questions as to whether or not all this talk of a big GOP sweep in November is overblown?

PALIN: Well, remember in Pennsylvania, too, though, in that district, two to one registration of Democrats outnumbering Republicans. Why wouldn’t a lifetime Democrat vote for the Democrat who was anti-Obama in the race? That just makes sense.

Just common sense, people! I mean, what kind of brain dead idiot would go on national teevee and actually predict that the Republican candidate would beat a Democrat in a conservative district that McCain/Palin won in 2008!?

For heaven sakes, you’d really have to be some kinda half-wit, know-nothing lamestream media talking head to say something like that.
