DES MOINES (Roiders) – Senator Charles Grassley (R-IA), noted for endorsing the "death panel" rumor on health care reform, is facing a strong re-election challenge from Democrat Roxanne Conlin.

"You have every right to fear," Grassley told patients at Central Medical Center. "Roxanne’s Rx is to pull the plug. I think I hear her in the hallway right now."

Asked about his own ideas on health care, Grassley said the uninsured should enlist in the armed forces. "Uncle Scam wants YOU."
