Tea-baggers/Conservatives To Launch Their Own TV Network

Oh lord. Okay so maybe I’m being a bit brash by calling it the tea-baggers network, but that is essentially what this is.

As if Fox News wasn’t enough for them, the right-wing (and specifically the tea-baggers) have announced plans to launch a "conservative-leaning" network. Who is at the captain’s mast of this outrageous escapade you ask? Comcast! The newly acquired Republican shill Comcast has recently met with their execs to help see such an idea come to fruition. The television network is said to be called RightNetwork and will no doubt be a big hit for the ones on the teabag right who own a television set and get cable (i’ll let you crunch the numbers and see how many that is)

RightNetwork, which seeks "to entertain, engage, and enlighten Americans who are looking for content that reflects and reinforces their perspective and worldview," will launch with a slate of conservative-themed programming.

Conservative themed programming eh? My mind is just racing with the possibilities of shows they could include, mainly all of the ones mentioned on the recent Tina Fey-Sarah Palin SNL sketch but also a few more.No doubt Ann Coulter would have her own reality dating show.

I’m thinking something along the lines of Crazyhomophobicantisemiticwhitewoman of love. I would have to assume that James O’Keefe would get his own candid camera-esque show where he breaks into random federal buildings and pretends to be an investigative journalist dressed up as wacky characters from early 90’s Nickelodeon cartoons.

Chairman of Comcast-Spectator Ed Snider commented on this new landmark event:

Ed Snider, the chairman of Comcast-Spectator called RightNetwork "the perfect platform to entertain, inform and connect with the American majority about what’s right in the world. Comcast is the majority owner of Comcast-Spectator, which is a Philadelphia-based sports and entertainment firm that owns both the Flyers and the 76ers.

Clearly, the teabagging delegation of our country NEEDS their own television station. Fox News isn’t good enough for them, they must expand the horizon beyond mainstream conservative news outlets. Sure O’Reilly and Beck are nice, but its time to leave the amateurs behind.

Expect Mark Williams, Sean Hannity, and Michele Bachmann to be regulars on this network. I certainly know how excited everyone here is to hear about this. I CAN’T WAIT!!!
