Kucinich, plush toy

Saturday night former President Bill Clinton stood in for Obama at the Gridiron dinner because POTUS was too busy stroking egos and wrangling votes for the health care-less bill. Clinton didn’t mince words about Kucinich’s swift about-face:

I flew here from Cleveland, and I flew out of the Dennis Kucinich Airport.

implying that Kucinich is going to benefit from his turncoat two-step, but in a very paltry, meaningless way.

Hell, in exchange for going back on his principles, Jack Murtha would have at least held out for a new hospital or two in his congressional district.

I guess progressives must be cheap dates.  Or cheap somethings.
