Lucy, football, financial reform negotiations.

How can Democrats in Washington expect anyone to take them seriously?

The latest on negotiations of financial reform at Huffington.

How many times does Lucy have to pull the football away and watch them fall flat on their asses before Democrats get the message that the Republicans are not going to cooperate on any substantive legislation before November.

Why oh why can’t we just abolish the Senate?

Why oh why can’t Democrats for once be partisan and fight for their constituents’ values?

Financial reform is a wet dream of an issue. And Obama and Dodd can’t figure out how to play it. My high school age daughter can figure this one out.

This is just getting too depressing to watch.
