Oh, good grief.

A buddy of mine on Twitter and YouTube linked me to this one and I'm just facepalming all over the place:

LU Law School Hosts Conference on the Consequences of Same-Gender Attraction

Lynchburg, VA – Liberty University School of Law will host a one-day conference followed by a one-day symposium addressing homosexuality and its consequences. The Friday, February 12, conference is entitled “Understanding Same-sex Attractions and Their Consequences.” On Saturday, February 13, the Liberty University Law Review will host a legal symposium entitled “Homosexual Rights and First Amendment Freedoms: Can They Truly Coexist?”

Emphasis mine, obvs.

But… seriously, guys?

Well, your first problem is that you’re training to be lawyers and you’re going to a freaking bible college.  Bug I digress…

What’s worse — if you go to the Liberty Law website and take a look at the intro for the class, well… look:

Friday’s program is planned for lay people, counselors, pastors, educators, attorneys, and those interested in learning more about the issues of same-sex attractions.  Mr. Chambers will share personal and ministry insights gained as president of Exodus International. Fellow conference speakers will discuss current research and therapies and also discuss the American Psychological Association (APA) Task Force Report on counseling people with same-sex attractions from the viewpoints of NARTH and the AACC.

Just a quick tip: if you want to be a lawyer and you’re going to a school like this where the prejudice isn’t just systematic, it’s built into the curriculum, you’re DOIN’ IT WRONG.
