Howard Zinn (1922-2010): A Tribute to the Legendary Historian with Noam Chomsky, Alice Walker, Naomi Klein and Anthony Arnove

Have been crying off and on today knowing Howard Zinn has passed.

He has been one of my heroes for a very long time. What a brave honest man. A giant intellect and a huge heart mixed into a man that there are just not enough of on this planet. Howard was filled with a thirst for truth, justice and peace. He leaves large footprints for all of us to follow. I had no idea he was 87 everything he had to say during the last couple of years was as sharp as he has always been. I am going to start crying again. Excuse me.

Over at Democracy now an incredible tribute to this honest, brave and brilliant man.

May he rest in peace and may we all follow in his giant footsteps.
