I received the Democratic Party’s lastest begathon e-mail
Here is my reply:
Dear President Obama and the Democratic Party,
As this year comes to a close, lobbyist funded politicians and their bigoted allies hope that their relentless attacks and millions of dollars can intimidate us (the LGBT community) into accepting the status quo.
So I have a message for the Democratic Party and President “fierce advocate” Obama: NOT this time. We (the LGBT community) have come too far, and we (the LGBT community) will not turn back. We (the LGBT community) will not back down.
But do not doubt – the opponents of EQUALITY (this includes the Democratic Party and President “fierce advocate” Obama) for LGBT citizens in this country will not rest. We needed you to fight alongside us and all we have been given in return is multiple slaps in the face by the huge majorities in both chambers of Congress along with the Presidency that WE (the LGBT community) helped elect.
We have built out our campaign, and President “fierce advocate” Obama's words have been used against the entire LGBT community because of his passivity and complacency in the status quo as it pertains to treating LGBT citizens as second-class citizens. We urgently need your help in bringing the LGBT community up to first-class citizenship, but you all refuse to do so.
Therefore, I will not be donating one cent to any Democrat, or to ANY of the Democratic causes until I know full well that this discriminatory organization changes their ways and supports my community 100% in full citizenship rights.
Either we can win this together, or we will find other candidates to challenge “conservacrats” in primaries and make them too weak to win in a general election.
Sincerely,
Here is the text of the begathon e-mail:
As we head into the final stretch on health reform, big insurance company lobbyists and their partisan allies hope that their relentless attacks and millions of dollars can intimidate us into accepting the status quo.
So I have a message for them, from all of us: Not this time. We have come too far. We will not turn back. We will not back down.
But do not doubt — the opponents of reform will not rest. So I need you to fight alongside me.
We must continue to build out our campaign — to spread the facts on the air and on the ground, and to bring in more volunteers and train them to join the fight. I urgently need your help to keep this 50-state movement for reform going strong.

Let's win this together,
