The usual nattering suspects would have us believe Reconciliation is dead and if not dead, too fraught with parliamentary dangers . . .
but, but Kent Conrad would be in charge !, what about the Byrd Rule ? we’ll lose the PO !, this will make the process too drawn out !
David skillfully addresses our concerns regarding the process. Give it a read – and don’t worry if you don’t ‘get it’ right away – just read through a few times, you’ll be amazed how much you pick up.
I recommend bookmarking and reading Congress Matters on a regular basis – it is easily the most under utilized resource in the blogisphere.
