Thursday’s Health Care Highlights

Carper’s monstrous state-based “alternative” is terrible. . . and only gets worse the more you think about it.

Cantwell’s “Basic Health Plan” passes in the Senate Finance Committee, 12-11. It could be a reasonable idea, but Cantwell might destroy it by falsely claiming it is a public option. It is not a public option.

Jane Hamsher wonders what exactly is in the White House’s secret health care bill they are writing, not writing, writing, not writing.
