Carper’s monstrous state-based “alternative” is terrible. . . and only gets worse the more you think about it.

SEIU Chief Andy Stern is working on a new! improved! public option alternative which would allow states to opt out of a national plan.

Rockefeller has the crazy idea health insurance companies should spend their money on providing people health care. I know. Crazy!!!

Cantwell’s “Basic Health Plan” passes in the Senate Finance Committee, 12-11. It could be a reasonable idea, but Cantwell might destroy it by falsely claiming it is a public option. It is not a public option.
